Joseph D. Stirling was born in the 78th year of the late 1900s in Elmira, New York. He strolls through existence as a caffeine-based life form, a teller of tales, a player of RPGs, and an all-around nerd. After living in Southern California for many decades, he has returned home to Elmira.
"You cannot win the game you have to play.”
Bailey doesn’t remember how he got to this strange land, but he feels at home amongst the Beggars in the Streets. But, more goes on in this strange place than first meets the eye. Along the Streets of Time, Beggars sell their sweet dreams for coin to live. While in the shadows, the Dream-Eater waits to consume their nightmares, and their very souls.
As life in the Streets spirals down, once again, to its horrific end, Bailey and his friends search desperately for a way to save their world.
A way to stop the spreading plague of nightmares and ensuing deaths.
A way to stop a madman.
A way to stop the Bone Man.
Most important of all, they must find Blythe. If they can locate him, their greatest challenge awaits.
How do they stop Blythe’s Game?
"This is one of the most visionary and original books I have ever read. It is truly extraordinary and I recommend it for anyone who seeks out original voices and appreciates artists who dream big."

"Hello.
You won't enjoy Stories for People with Tails. It will not be pleasant. It will not seem normal.
This collection of fables spans the gamut from the horrible knowledge about the things under your bed to the impossible strangeness of food forgotten in the back of the fridge.
It might make you believe there is goodness in the world, but I promise you that is unintentional.
This untidy pile of scribbles is not recommended for children and may remind you of every mirror you've broken in your life.
I can assure you that those two things are not related in any way.
Good luck, reader."
"First off, there is no doubt that Stirling is a deft storyteller with a phenomenal imagination...In short, this book whisked me away into unimaginable worlds that I didn't want to leave, and I encourage you to take a chance on this little gem. It is crammed with vivid storytelling at its best - entertaining, surprising, compelling and utterly original." ~Amazon Review

An innocent act to deepen the town well turned into a horrible nightmare when they unknowingly tore open a membrane that led to a fungal cave system. The ancient mycelium lashed out in defense against the attack. Its spores infected the townsfolk in a matter of days and had already spread to the edges of the forest.
The Council of Mages quickly sealed the town inside a Sphere of Annihilation with hopes to contain and destroy the spread. If a cure can’t be found in the Heart of the organism everything inside the barrier will be burned to ash.
Can the Heroes survive the descent into the Well and navigate its depths?
Can they find a way to deal with the Fungal Heart and discover a cure?
Can they save the town and themselves before the Arcane Barrier collapses?

Welcome To Mutation! Wild West Sci-Fi Adventure in the Post-Apocalypse.
The "Westocalypse" playtest is no more, and I thank everyone who participated over the last year and a half. All that feedback has led to Mutation RPG and this Free QuickStart rule guide. The complete rulebook is near completion and should hopefully be releasing soon. Till then grab some six-sided dice and dive in.
The game is a 3D6 based dice pool system set in a sci-fi western post-apocalypse here on Earth. The PDF contains the core rules for playing, full mutant creation, equipment, vehicles, a brief GM section, and a starting adventure. I've also included a letter-sized black and white character sheet for easy at home printing, and a color double A5 character sheet on standard letter size.
Thank you, and have fun!

The World as we know it has changed. Two centuries from now a comet strikes Earth. This hunk of interstellar rock was an attack by some Klendathu wannabes. “Goddamn bugs whacked us, Johnny.”
It wasn’t really a comet or meteor, or even an asteroid. It was a seed bomb for terraforming sent by some alien species. This thing detonated a mile up over the Florida Keys and scattered radiation, some kind of bio-gel, and spores around the globe. It wiped out 80% of life on the surface. And we never even got to see the damn aliens...
The world was a little weird and quiet after that. But like Jeff Goldbloom playing Dr Ian Malcom in Jurassic Park says, “Life, uh, finds a way.”
We humans are a resilient bunch, adaptable. The few hundred years that followed was probably a nightmare for the survivors. The bio-gel made some wild changes to our planet, and to all the stuff that lives on it.
The game is called Mutation after all, so you’ve got to know by now that we’re all mutants.
